Graduate Student and Post-Doctoral Internships
Location: Redwood City, CA
At Education.com’s Redwood City, CA offices, we offer summer, six month, and 12 month internships to graduate students in education and child development. A Masters degree is required. In addition intern candidates must have knowledge in two or three of the following areas of preschool to 12th grade education: Developmental Milestones, Social Issues in School, Health and Physical Fitness, Parenting Styles, Learning to Read, Kindergarten Readiness, Special Needs, Gifted Children, Choosing a School, Learning Styles, Math, RLA, Science, Social Studies, Media and Technology Literacy, 21st Century Preparedness, Thinking About College, Extra-curricular Activities, Life Skills, Standards and Testing, Special Needs, and Parent-School Connection.
Interns are paid a stipend based on assigned projects, such as information mining, designing information portal pages, reviewing reference articles, facilitating communities of educators and parents worldwide, and creating new initiatives for parents, students, teachers, and educators.
