8 Fun Pool Games

At your next pool party, gather a large group of friends to play a fun game of Chain Tag! Players join hands in the pool as the first person in line weaves the chain of people back and fourth like a snake. This keeps the last person in line from tagging her! The more players you have, the more fun the games become. This game is sure to get everyone laughing this summer.

What You Need:

  • Swimming pool
  • 3 or more kids

What You Do:

  1. Have all players form a single line by joining hands in the pool. The more players you have, the more fun the game becomes!
  2. The last person in line is "it" and tries to tag the first person in line without letting go of the other player's hand.
  3. The first person in line moves around the pool, swinging the line from side to side like a snake, so the last person has trouble tagging her.
  4. When the first person is tagged, the person at the end goes to the front of the line. Continue to play until each player has had a turn, or until their arms get tired! To make things a little more interesting, allow only the first and last person in line to let their feet touch the bottom of the pool. The results will be wildly fun!
