Your second grader can honor two renowned U.S. Presidents—Abraham Lincoln and George Washington—by crafting larger-than-life pennies and quarters! Not only will the assembling process engage his fine motor skills, but this craft will also increase his familiarity with a couple common American coins. After constructing these giant coins, take the activity one step further by practicing some coin adding and grouping to improve his coin counting skills.
