Help your child develop strong logic and critical thinking skills. This card game provides a fun problem solving opportunity which is both challenging and enjoyable. You'll need to find a deck of playing cards and print out a game board in order to get started. Place designated cards on the board. Then, by sliding cards into open spaces and jumping cards you'll attempt to reverse the order of the cards. Once you've solved this puzzle, test your memory and try it again!
What You Need:
- One deck of playing cards.
- One Reverse game board (Print this out.)
What You Do:
- Take one set of ace through ten out of the deck. Place the cards face up on the game mat, according to the labels.
- Remove the ten and discard it.
- Try to reverse the order of the cards from clockwise to counter-clockwise. Legal moves include sliding a card into a neighboring empty space and jumping over one card into an empty space.
- Once you've solved the puzzle, start over and see if you can solve it more quickly a second time around!
