Shamrock Picture

What You Do:

1. Have your child draw and cut out a giant shamrock shape from the white construction paper. Try to encourage her to make the shape take up as much of the paper as possible.
2. Help her paint one of the palms of her hands with green tempera paint, and then she can press it into one corner of her shamrock, with the fingers pointing outwards. Repeat this with the other three sections of the shamrock. Allow the paint time to dry.
3. She can now finish the project by gluing the handprint shamrock on the piece of green construction paper.
