What we like best:

Visually striking and able to entertain for hours, this art app—featuring illuminated, sparkling drawings—is on a whole new level.

What you should know:

The “lifetime” of each drawing is limited in the free version, so your drawings will start to disappear after a certain number of lines are drawn.
Full Review:

Put a little sparkle into your artwork! This truly dazzling app gives budding artists a blank canvas that lights up with blinking, twirling patterns as they draw. Kids may need some help experimenting with the settings to change up features like speed, shape, and color. Then watch as they are spellbound by the brightly illuminated images they create. With a black screen that helps the glowing colors pop, kids young and old will be glued to the screen drawing mesmerizing pictures for hours on end.

While this is predominantly an art app, it can definitely be used in educational ways. Draw out simple math problems for kids, test their knowledge of different shapes, or have them practice spelling words in a fun and unique way. And don't forget, drawing in general is an excellent way to build fine motor skills, which in turn builds a foundation for good handwriting. Buy the full version to save your art, record animations and reduce ads.
