In-app purchases are linked to from the home screen, which makes it easy for little fingers to accidentally purchase more questions. Additionally, when kids choose the wrong answer, there's no explanation or opportunity for them to guess again.

Give your preschooler the chance to whip up some delicious answers for a hungry monster in Feed Me! This simple, intuitive game features over 100 questions for little ones to tackle in the free version; additional question packs only cost $0.99 each.

Twelve different language options—including Japanese, German, French, Chinese and Hindi in addition to both U.S. and U.K. English—make this an especially versatile app for multilingual learning. Purchase options make it tricky for kids to begin the game without help, but once the app's running, game play is intuitive and easy for small fingers to master. The monster “thinks” of a specific topic he's hungry for—such as a pattern, a shape or a certain color—and kids must choose from three options and “feed” their furry friend what he wants. Incorrect guesses leave the monster with a tummy ache, while correct answers leave him satisfied and cheering.

When children earn enough correct answers, they're given a funny award for their virtual trophy room. This app includes a huge array of learning opportunities— including colors, shapes, sorting, patterns, measurements, prepositions, numbers, counting, time, letters, rhyming and spelling—so your preschooler is unlikely to get bored.
