Watch out for enemy fire and avoid punching in too many wrong answers—both could lead to a failed mission. Missions are based on four different math operations—addition, subtraction, multiplication and division—and kids must maneuver their ships over correct answers to advance. The more questions little learners ace, the more powerful their laser beam becomes—but as the levels increase in difficulty, enemies become more savvy as well. Three difficulty levels allow this app to grow as a child's skills progress. Varied questions keep the format from becoming stale; at times, children are given part of an equation and must find the missing numbers. Other questions challenge kids to build the sum from scratch with numbers they choose.
