Appalachian State University

Appalachian State University is a large four-year university in the town of Boone, NC. The school is on the semester calendar system and is a Master's College with larger sized programs. There are 16,083 undergraduate students and 2,659 graduate students at Appalachian State University. The freshman class has 2,743 students. Students attend full-time. It is a very selective institution with a high transfer-in rate; 63% of students who apply to Appalachian State University are admitted and 33% of those admitted students attend the school. The school has its own library and participates in Title IV federal financial aid programs for those who qualify. Appalachian State University is in the Southern Conference.
