Brown University

Brown University is a medium sized four-year university in the midsized city of Providence, RI. The school is on the semester calendar system and is a research university with very high research activity. There are 6,741 undergraduate students and 2,780 graduate students at Brown University. The freshman class has 1,501 students. Students attend full-time. It is a very selective institution with a low transfer-in rate; 9% of students who apply to Brown University are admitted and 53% of those admitted students attend the school.
