Maine Maritime Academy

Maine Maritime Academy is a very small- four year university in the rural city of Castine, ME. The school is on the semester calendar system and is a Baccalaureate College with diverse fields. There are 928 undergraduate students and 17 graduate students at Maine Maritime Academy. The freshman class has 248 students. Students attend full-time. It is a selective institution with a low transfer-in rate; 55% of students who apply to Maine Maritime Academy are admitted and 44% of those admitted students attend the school. The school has its own library and participates in Title IV federal financial aid programs for those who qualify. Maine Maritime Academy is in the New England Football Conference.
