Shepherd University

Shepherd University is a medium sized four-year university in the town of Shepherdstown, WV. The school is on the semester calendar system and is a Baccalaureate College with diverse fields. There are 4,699 undergraduate students and 208 graduate students at Shepherd University. The freshman class has 801 students. Students attend full-time. It is a selective institution with a high transfer-in rate; 94% of students who apply to Shepherd University are admitted and 48% of those admitted students attend the school. The school has its own library and participates in Title IV federal financial aid programs for those who qualify. Shepherd University is in the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conf.
