University of Miami

University of Miami is a large four-year university in the large suburb of Coral Gables, FL. The school is on the semester calendar system and is a research university with very high research activity. There are 11,688 undergraduate students and 8,165 graduate students at University of Miami. The freshman class has 2,132 students. Students attend full-time. It is a very selective institution with a high transfer-in rate; 39% of students who apply to University of Miami are admitted and 21% of those admitted students attend the school. The school has its own library and participates in Title IV federal financial aid programs for those who qualify. University of Miami is in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
