University of Rochester

University of Rochester is a medium sized four-year university in the midsized city of Rochester, NY. The school is on the semester calendar system and is a research university with very high research activity. There are 5,925 undergraduate students and 5,098 graduate students at University of Rochester. The freshman class has 1,309 students. Students attend full-time. It is a very selective institution with a low transfer-in rate; 38% of students who apply to University of Rochester are admitted and 25% of those admitted students attend the school.
