scholarships

Hi Dee - just to clarify, are you hoping to get information on financial assistance for private schools?  Unfortunately, I don't think there are state or national financial assistance programs for kids that age (those kinds of programs kick in for college).  My guess is you'll have to contact individual private school's you're considering in order to find out if they offer any scholorships or financial assistance programs.

Hi Dee,
I do not state where you live or what type of scholarship for your child you are seeking, however, if your are in San Diego and seeking a scholarship for remedial studies (to get caught up) the children’s literacy charity that I am the founder of does offer these scholarships to qualifying families. If you are in SD and this fits, kindly go online to our website and download the forms, www.kidangel.org. I took a shot at letting you know even though I see its Dee_Bronx. You never know!

Hello-All,
I live in Salinas, California and have a 12 year old soon to be 13 and I've been looking everywhere and need help getting my son some help.. He does have ADHD and has been diagnosed by several physicians and he is having a difficult time in school he is failing all his classes... The school doesn't have any special classes for a student like this.. Unfortunately me and my husband work 8-5:30 so he has time on his hands to get into trouble.. We've tried to see if we could look into a boarding or military style boarding school just to try to take him away from his friends and the school he's gotten very comfortable in and we have had no luck... He sees a Phsychiatrist which we have to pay out of pocket for and have a daughter going to attend UC Davis in September.. we also pay daycare for a 4 year old and a 8 month old and have no extra money to pay for special schooling for my son??? Please Help any ideas???
