Get help through a therapist. The Department of Human Services for Mental Health is an excellent place to start. It may take some time to get in, but just express your feelings of the need for urgency. Be willing to take any appointment even on short notice for a cancelled appointment and tell them so. It will not take long for the therapist to suggest an evaluation for your child. The therapist will address the concerns to the doctor for you. It is not your imagination, it is not you, your instincts are most likely correct, do not give up, continue to persue help for you child no matter what. talk with your pediatrician.  learning disabilities, impulse control, and attention issues are all in the realm of pediatrics.  Ask the same question.  If she/he cannot help, they usually know someone in the mental health field who can.

As a nationally board certified counselor with an undergrad in chemistry/physics, when you tire of trying modern medical techniques and therapies, I have seen people healed of disorders as complicated as multiple personality disorder. Beinhealth.com is an organization working with the principles set forth in the Bible.  my question to  you is do you have a really good develomental peditrician that is how my now 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with autism, word of moth and sometimes people at school see what the parents do not always see, go with your heart, parents know their child  best,.mm
