HI LNelson,well for a long time i've been against medication for my son who's now is 15 years old. when he was 5 years old I try  ritalin and he told me that he felt like rats running around in his head. then  his Pediatrician put him on Adderall, and he stared to turn yellow.a few years later ,they then wanted me to put him on risperdone,he then lost his appetite, strattera the doctor saw for her self what it was doing , which had him like a sombie and she took him off. He was still having his behaviors and they wanted me to see this other psychiatrist who had try the patch, which he burst out crying for no reason and couldn't understand why. He's now 15 and on concerta, and he enjoy taking it. yes, it slow him down to the point where he feel like he can't do anything, but he enjoy it for the high he get from it.So my point is,do i give it to him to help him calm down, or do I give it to him  to help him get hook on future drugs?
