my daughter is ready for school in sept.
i live in newark nj and my daughter is 5 years old. she will start school in sept but i really would like to homeschool her. what do i do

Make sure to call the NJ Board of Education and ask what the rules are in your state in terms of homeschooling. States vary in terms of requirements.

It might be helpful to join a homeschooling group before deciding whether or not homeschooling is a good option for you. Homeschooling requires a lot of work and research on your part. Take a peek at this website http://homeschooling.gomilpitas.com/index.htm. It will give you some input on the pro's and con's of homeschooling. Also, there are many Yahoo groups out there with dedicated homeschooling parents that would be more than happy to answer all your questions and concerns.
