Achievement-Level Percentages

Achievement-Level percentages are the percentages of students that meet or exceed expectations based on performance on NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress). The percentages are measured by calculating the number of students within the total population or in a particular student group whose scores on NAEP are equal to or greater than the achievement-level scores. The number of students who fit that criteria are then divided by the population under assessment, usually the entire student population or a particular student group.
