Child Find

Child Find is a program that identifies, locates, and evaluates young children between the ages of 0 to 5 years old with disabilities The organization's purpose is to seek out those children who are eligible to receive early intervention services or special education based on their disability or disabilities. The Child Find program is particularly important because children with disabilities can benefit greatly from early intervention and other related services. Child Find serves young children with disabilities and their families who are in need of Early Intervention Program (Part C) or Preschool Special Education (Part B/619) services of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)
