High School Equivalency Certificate

The high school equivalency certificate is a state-administered official document given to those individuals who meet the necessary eligibility requirements and have performed sufficiently well on the standardized exam. The most common high school equivalency certificate is the GED (General Educational Development) credential. The GED gives those students who have not received a high school diploma to earn a certificate outside of the formal education system.
