Informal Learning

Informal learning is an informal adult education program in the work environment that does not require an instructor's presence. Common examples of informal learning include on-the-job demonstrations by a manager or colleague; on-the-job mentoring and training; individual study of work-related material; participation or attendance at brown-bag or other informal presentations; and attendance at work-related conferences, trade shows, or conventions.
