- Schools offering a curriculum different from the national curriculum of the country in which they are located, and that, as a deliberate policy, attract students temporarily residing in a foreign nation to be educated together - often characterized by a commitment to international education philosophy and bilingualism (Note: For schools outside of the United States established to educate children of American military personnel, use Identifier "Dependents Schools").
