Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP)

The Magnet School Assistance Program (MSAP) is a federal program authorized by No Child Left Behind (NCLB) that offers financial support for those school districts or local education agencies (LEA) that attempt to develop or expand magnet school programs. The MSAP was first launched in 1985 and has supplied grants to 171 school districts since then.
