- Mastery and Automaticity
- Two degrees to which knowledge can be maintained. A student with mastery of certain information can utilize the information successfully, but may struggle or need to call upon learning strategies to do so. Automaticity indicates that the student can utilize the information quickly and without needing to pause to recall it.
