Nondoctoral Institutions

Nondoctoral institutions are all post-secondary, four-year academic institutions that do not offer programs for doctoral or first-professional degrees. Some liberal arts colleges in the United States, for example, are considered nondoctoral institutions because they offer bachelor's and master's degrees but, do not offer doctoral and first-professional programs.
