- Ordinality and Sequence
- The ability to understand the relative position of objects, otherwise known as ordinality and sequencing skills, is an important reading mathematics skill measured in the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study for kindergarten students. For example, a young child will exercise his or her ordinality and sequencing skills when instructed to put a series of numbers in order from greatest to least.
