OSEP (Office of Special Education Programs)

The Office of Special Education Programs, OSEP, is an important component of the operation and oversight of special education programs in the United States. Special education programs such as smaller classes for students with disabilities or Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) are reviewed and, when appropriate, supported by the OSEP to ensure compliance with federal legislation.
