This arcade-style game reinforces math skills and hand-eye coordination. The pinball-shaped console and a rubber-tipped mallet test its user's addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division facts. When a math fact comes up on the display screen, the player has to wait until the numbers light up before striking the correct answer with the mallet. Then when the Enter key lights up, the player strikes it and sees if he or she got the correct answer. Light 'n' Strike is great both for kids who love math games and those who need a bit of fun practice. So, toss aside those boring flash cards, and give your kids a math challenge that will keep them on their toes. (Learning Resources, $26.99)
