Annie has a big brother named Simon who remains incredibly unflapable, no matter how much trouble she manages to find... which can be a lot. Whether he's cutting a stuck comb out of her hair, or looking for lost loons after she's tipped their canoe, he's just the kind of brother every kid wants. A great pick for families with big age gaps between kids, but a great read regardless, this sweet, unhurried amble though funny situations makes for a smooth transition from picture to chapter books.
