FirstScope Telescope

This scope gives many that cost thrice the price a run for their money. Sturdy, lightweight (about 2 kg), and covered with the names of famous astronomers and scientists throughout history, its high quality optics make it possible to swivel for a view of the lunar craters, Jupiter's moons, or the Orion Nebulae. Once your child falls in love with star hopping, you might want to spring for better eyepieces, but this scope has two decent ones to get you started.
