Magic Muck

This hands-on science experiment is just as ooey and gooey as it sounds! Your kitchen laboratory is the perfect place to mix up this unique muck. The magic part? The “muck” is both a liquid and a solid at the same time, making it an excellent specimen for a lesson about the solid and liquid states of matter. All you have to do is add a little water and mix until the powder starts to change its form. Pick up the glob with your hands and you’ll feel its solid-like texture. Then watch as it melts into a liquid-like goo within seconds. Kids can have fun mixing the colors and adding more water to see what happens, and clean-up is quick and easy. (Alex, $9.95)
