Hush Little Dragon

Every parent wishes they were the type of mother or father that has a handful of lullabies memorized, ready to sing at the drop of a hat. In reality, few of us do, so we end up stumbling along, humming the parts we can't quite recall. This book comes to the rescue, with quirky rhymes meant to be sung to the well-known kid's classic, Hush Little Baby, and beautiful drawings to look at along the way. Perfect for preschoolers who just don't want to go to bed, the story traces a mama dragon's quest to find a tasty bedtime snack for her sleepless little dragon. The progression of princesses, knights, magicians, and other goodies that get dropped on the dragon's plate, only to run away, is sure to bring on a set of the giggles, and the soothing ending a big satisfied yawn.
