Who says toys aren't made to last these days? This cool, beautiful set is heirloom quality. And that's good news, because this game has major repeat-play value. Swivel the board your way, pull a set of marbles out from the wooden drawer, and try to get four in a row. Sound easy? Not so fast! A series of embedded levers litter the channels through which marbles can pass and things don't always end up where you think they will. Each time a marble hits a lever, it changes the path for the next player, so the game board shifts with every turn. The gorgeous set is a pleasure to play, but shifting channels, defensive "blocking", and interesting rules make this looker more than just a pretty face. (Uncle Skunkle, $79.95)
