Snail Puppet

He's a little shy, but for the right puppeteer, he'll come out of his shell. This expressive little guy is the perfect size for a seven-year-old's arm. Slide some fingers into his antennae or spread them wide in his mouth, and he'll show a complex range of emotions—surprise, sadness, bashfulness, and joy—depending on how you tweak your fingers. A real crowd-pleaser, a wonderful way to work self-expression and creativity, and a delight to use. (Folkmanis, $18)
