Kids love to play games, but if you're on the go that monopoly board just won't work. Keep it simple with this on-the-fly writing game. With mad-libs style game play, even the most reluctant writer will be inspired to put pen to paper, with silly, often hilarious, and usually surprising results. The consequences are? Your child will get

What You Need:

  • Sheet of regular size paper
  • Pencils

What You Do:

Give everyone a sheet of paper and a pen. Tell everyone to write the name of a person we all know--either someone in the family, community, or a famous person. Then, instruct players to fold the paper down over their responses, so it is no longer visible, and pass it to the person to their right.

Without unfolding the paper, the next person writes "Met" and then the name of another person that everyone knows. The folding and passing process is repeated.
