Feel-Good Berry Crisp (continued)


 

Place the berries in a colander and rinse them under cold water to thaw slightly. Drain. Place the berries, lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon in a medium-size bowl and mix well. Spoon the fruit mixture evenly into the prepared ramekins, sprinkle about 1⁄2 cup of the crisp topping over the fruit in each ramekin, and place the ramekins on a baking sheet. If using a 9-inch baking dish, pour in the fruit mixture and sprinkle on the topping. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

Serve warm, with a small scoop of low-fat vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt, if desired.
