A few words about me...

Both Annette Duncan and I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, and attending sporting events. We are both currently researching various culturally relevant instructional strategies in order to close the achievement gap for African American boys and girls, respectively, as we continue our coursework at UNI. We were published together for the first time in 2008’s Sept. / Oct. issue of “Social Studies and the Young Learner” which was an article that explored Citizenship Education strategies.
