 PERSONAL PROFILE

Brenda is a wife, daughter, sister, friend and advocate for youth. She enjoys going to the theater, Jazzercize, swimming and hiking. She has traveling in her blood, part of her upbringing as an ”Army brat”, and has lived in Louisiana (birthplace), Texas (Killeen and San Antonio), Virginia, Georgia, Germany and France.  She has been in San Antonio since HemisFair ‘68 when the family moved at the beginning of her senior year of high school.  

 

A well-known speaker, Brenda uses her sense of humor and drama to present inspirational speeches to motivate her audiences. Editor of her high school newspaper, founding editor of The Trinity Review, and award-winning editor of several publications, she is a prolific writer and often contributes to various publications.  A creative photographer, she enjoys taking pictures of children, animals, social occasions and her travel experiences. Her long-range goals include publishing a book and being a keynote speaker.
