A few words about me...

I currently work as a school counselor and have a bachelor’s degree in journalism and master degrees in school counseling and public administration. I'm certified to counsel students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. I have experience providing individual and group counseling to students on issues including anger management, peer relationships, divorce, self-esteem, loss, test anxiety, domestic strife and impulsivity. I also have experience teaching classroom lessons on character education, study skills, conflict resolution, and how to combat bullying. I've been chair of the Child Study Team and 504 Committee, and have counseled students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
