A few words about me...

In addition to being the proud mom of two young children, Danielle Wood serves as Editor-In-Chief of Education.com, a leading web destination for parents of school-aged children.  In this role she manages the team of staff and contractors accountable for all of the site’s original content.  A publishing industry veteran, Danielle’s writing has appeared in a number of newspapers and magazines, including Newsweek, Stanford Magazine, Christian Science Monitor, and Plenty. Danielle has written several books including The Uncollege Alternative, a guide for high school and college students considering taking time off and she has lectured on this topic extensively.  She has been a guest on a number of locally and nationally broadcast radio and television shows including NPR and The Today Show.

Danielle is a graduate of Harvard University.
