A few words about me...

My experience as a clinical child psychologist led me to be interested in the effects of violence on children.  When my four year old son demanded a Nintendo for Christmas 16 years ago I began to research video games and video game violence.  I am especially interested in relationships between exposure to media violence and empathy, attitudes towards violence, and desensitization to violence. Out of the work arena, since my children are now grown, I am completely smitten by my 8 month old Shih Tzu-Maltese puppy.
