A few words about me...

Lonnie K. Chin is the Principal of Spring Valley Science Magnet School in San Francisco. Throughout her life, Ms. Chin has been an avid community activist and has donated time to many educational, social, environmental, housing and community issues. She has served as a consultant to many educational institutions around the country and was previously president of The Association of Chinese Teachers and the Association of Chinese-American Administrators. Ms. Chin received a Master of Arts degree from San Francisco State University in Educational Administration and Supervision Interdisciplinary Studies & Curriculum in Education and a second Master of Arts degree in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from Harvard University.
