A few words about me...

Coming from a family of artists, community leaders, and educators, it’s no surprise that I have always found myself drawn to ideas and service.  My immigrant experience and multicultural upbringing has helped me see the importance of quality schools, opportunity, and thriving communities. My research and my professional pursuits revolve around the interrelatedness of these three areas and core values. My interests include the following: school and community partnerships, organizational & leadership development, multicultural education, Asian American Studies, and student retention in higher education.  I am a community worker, educator and contributor to the Education.com Reference Department.
