A few words about me...

I taught 3rd grade for 5 years in the Atlanta area. The school was a diverse group of students ranging from newly arrived refugee and immigrant students from all around the World to African-American students born and raised in GA. I then moved to Seattle and worked for 2 years as a reading intervention teacherand then as a first grade teacher. I love teaching reading, writing, and social studies. My true passion lies in working with marginalized populations and promoting social justices causes.
