A few words about me...

I am thrilled to be a part of the Education.com team. We are mostly parents, some educators, some child psychologists, and others who genuinely care about kids and their future. We are committed to providing parents information and services supporting “whole child education” as defined by the Association of Supervisors of Curriculum Development. More specifically, this means we will provide content supporting the development of successful learners who are knowledgeable, emotionally and physically healthy, civically active, artistically engaged, prepared for college or  economic self-sufficiency, and ready for the world beyond formal schooling.  At Education.com, we are collecting the best educational content from leading authorities and from parents who too are authoritative. Simply stated, we want to make the job of parenting easier by providing parents resources all in one web destination.

 

On the personal side, my wife and I have two boys. One is graduating from college this year, and the other will be a senior in high school this coming fall. My wife teaches first grade. I was a high school teacher, a school administrator, and I led an educational software company serving 8 million students in several different countries. I have also volunteered in several organizations designed to help kids.
