A few words about me...

I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Michigan with a degree in psychology.  While there, I honed my research skills by working at their Pathways to Literacy lab. I am currently enjoying life as a graduate student in the Cognitive Studies in Education program at Teachers College, Columbia University.



Other interesting facts include: I once tried to cross the Sahara Desert overland. I have baked more than 100,000 muffins over the course of my lifetime. My favorite words are “waffle” and “clavicle." At various times I have worked as an assistant preschool teacher, a freelance children’s writer, and as a behavioral aide with high-risk autistic kids.
