A few words about me...
I have been a practicing community pediatrician for 32 years. I did my residency in pediatrics at Bellevue-New York University. My interest is in school health and I was, in fact, a high school teacher at the Taft School in Watertown, Ct. from 1966-1971. My interests are travel, reading, Broadway theater, and gardening. I am fluent in Spanish. Hobbies include digital photography.
In 2010 I was a candidate for the presidency of the American Academy of Pediatrics, which was an honor to potentially be the voice for American children and 61,000 board certified US and Canadian pediatricians.
Currently I serve on the New Jersey Immunization Network, the AAP's subcommittee on Access to child health care, and continue my work as a school medical adviser to a large NJ school system
