What the Expert Says:

Hello and thank you for writing to JustAsk,

Birth order can be a sticky situation, especially when there are new additions to the family that are "out of order".  This happens when there are blended families as well as adoptions.

Consider prepping the children with frequent visits- if possible- of the new children.
Also, consider seeking the advice of a local professional who can be hands on for any problems or to help prepare the children.

These websites may help, also.

Good Luck!
