How to get my 3 year old to play?

My three year old refuses to play. She has to be with me all the time. I love her but this is stressful, I cant get anything done. I have told her to go play and she will start to cry and just sit down. The only time she plays is when I play with her. She has a brother that plays fine all by hisself, i dont understand why she is like this. He even tries to get her to play with him, but if i dont play she refuses it. please help

Hello and thank you for your question-

Your child may need more direction that "go play".  Consider setting up play dates with other children, preschool or guided play with your son.  It is not unusual for a three year old child to wish to be in the company of others. These links may help you:
